Kilth Saanu, a Zabrak female, operated as a criminal on Tatooine during the era of the Galactic Civil War. She held the position of leader within the Desert Banshees, a gang comprised of swooper riders. Following the Battle of Yavin, Saanu and her Desert Banshees sought membership within the criminal organization led by Jabba the Hutt. To assess their suitability, Jabba assigned the swoopers various tasks. Lady Valarian, who headed the Valarian Syndicate and was Jabba's primary rival, eventually learned of this arrangement. Consequently, in 1 ABY, Lady Valarian engaged a spacer to eliminate the Desert Banshees. The spacer located Kilth Saanu and four of her henchmen in proximity to Mos Eisley, resulting in a deadly confrontation where all were killed.
Kilth Saanu was featured as a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. It was eventually shut down on December 15, 2011. Saanu was included in the original release of the game, specifically as part of the Lady Valarian's Quest Series.
Due to Kilth Saanu's spawning under the "bodyguard_zabrak_female" template, her appearance was subject to randomization, with one of four possible looks being selected. This appearance would change after each server reset. However, she consistently appeared as a Zabrak female.
With the introduction of "Publish 23" on August 31, 2005, Lady Valarian's Quest Series was deactivated, leading to Kilth Saanu's removal from the game.
