Ke Len was a Blood Carver bounty hunter and slave who happened to be female.
Ke Len was the property of Chevin slaver Phylus Mon. She served as part of Phylus Mon's security detail, along with Ku-Kak, Mischa Vorfren, and various other enslaved individuals. Ke Len, who did not possess any Force-sensitivity, operated as a gunner, defending Phylus Mon using a light repeating blaster. When engaged in close-quarters combat, she would attempt a stealthy attack with either a vibroblade or a heavy blaster pistol.
As was the case with all of Phylus Mon's slaves, Ke Len had an implanted explosive device that would cause her death if Phylus Mon were to die, regardless of the cause. Ke Len was aware that the explosive within her could be disabled by an ion weapon, but Phylus Mon prohibited any ion weaponry aboard his ship, the Animiasma. Ke Len harbored intense hatred for Phylus Mon but was too afraid to rebel against him.
Around 20 BBY, the Animiasma journeyed to the Cularin system as part of Phylus Mon's scheme to repair the damaged Sith artifact called the Darkstaff. While Phylus Mon was in the process of analyzing the Staff, it vanished abruptly. Moments later, a group of individuals with opposing objectives stormed into the throne room. Responding to her master's command, Ke Len attempted to overwhelm the intruders with blaster fire.
