Karenna Dunnels, a female Human, held the ranks of Lieutenant and science officer within the Royal Naboo Security Forces during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Stationed at Theed Royal Palace on Naboo, she was associated with individuals such as Quarsh Panaka, Gregar Typho, Pooja Naberrie, Harriet Brunser, Sundria Khartoor, and Mercious Bragg. Following a terrorist attack in Theed circa 1 ABY, Lieutenant Dunnels was assigned the task of producing a supply of neural boosters for the security personnel. To accomplish this, she contracted a spacer to procure xharnoh plant roots and nightspider venom sacs, both crucial components in the creation of the boosters. These boosters subsequently saw use by the RSF during their raid targeting Mummer terrorists.
Karenna Dunnels made an appearance as a non-player character in Star Wars Galaxies, the video game released in 2003. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. Dunnels was incorporated into the game as part of the "Legacy Quest" with the arrival of "Publish 25", also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
