Jet-wings, colored silver and blue, were a type of aerial vehicle employed on the moon of Gall to dispense fertilizers onto crops. Their design featured an elongated, streamlined fuselage, incorporating an open-air cockpit for the single pilot, along with a pair of wings positioned above the body at the rear. These wings were connected to the vehicle's rounded back end by a set of six supporting struts.
During the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, piloted jet-wings during a battle that took place on Gall. While their primary vehicles underwent refueling, the pair utilized the jet-wings to evade detection by the sensors of a Separatist craft that was both leading and providing shielding for the other Separatist ships. They successfully penetrated the ship's shields, landed the jet-wings on the hull, and disembarked, after which the jet-wings were destroyed.
The jet-wings made an appearance in Inside Job, a comic penned by Rik Hoskin and visually brought to life by Andres Ponce. This story was released on November 12, 2009, as part of issue 6.1 of the Star Wars Comic UK magazine series.
