Huulia was a planet situated within the galaxy. A nacelle originating from a Huulian starfighter could be found among the refuse stored at Watto's junkshop in Mos Espa, a city located on the planet Tatooine, back in 32 BBY. This shop belonged to the Toydarian Watto. Furthermore, Huulia served as the homeworld to Kit Valent, a pilot who perished while flying for the Alliance to Restore the Republic's Rogue Squadron during the Battle of Hoth in 3 ABY.
Within the current Star Wars canon, the first indirect reference to Huulia came through its demonym in the 2016 reference book titled Star Wars: Complete Locations. Subsequently, the planet received a direct mention in "Pilots of the Rebel Alliance," an entry from De Agostini's Star Wars Encyclopedia series, which was made available on March 4, 2022. The content featured in Complete Locations was a reprint from the 2000 reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I, authored by Kristin Lund. This reprint represented the initial, though indirect, mention of the world within the Star Wars Legends continuity. The first direct mention in Legends then materialized in the 2012 reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare, penned by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart.
