Hospital, a medical facility, existed in the vastness of space, accessible from Brint-wo Colony via a brief hyperspace jump, and was part of the XQ2 Platform.
Following the Battle of Hoth, numerous injured Rebel soldiers were transported to this station. Under the command of Commander Beckman, they received medical care and underwent rehabilitation, protected by the MC40a light cruiser named Shadow. However, their period of recovery was cut short when an Imperial task force, under the leadership of Admiral Garreth Holtz aboard the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer named Corrupter, emerged from hyperspace and initiated a TIE Bomber assault on Hospital.
During the conflict, both Ace and Emon Azzameen showed exceptional skill, destroying a significant number of TIE fighters. Largely due to their actions, at least two-thirds of the Rebel personnel were able to escape. Regrettably, they could not rescue the Vasudra, a bacta transport ship with their father and brother on board. Tomaas and Galin Azzameen were both lost and are presumed to have perished in the battle.
The Rebels evacuated Hospital, which was subsequently captured by Imperial forces.
The precise location of the Hospital installation remains unspecified within the game Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance.
It is uncertain whether the Rebel ships docked at the base, especially the two GR-75 Medium Transports, were actually present during the engagement, even though many carried wounded personnel from the Battle of Hoth.
