The Haserians, a sentient species originating from the Haseria system located in the Mid Rim, existed as of 18 BBY. At approximately this time, some youthful Haserians from Coruscant engaged in a shockball match with a team of similarly aged Rodians. This sporting event drew in a considerable audience, among whom were Jax Pavan, Dejah Duare, and the droid I-5YQ, who watched as spectators.
The initial depiction of the Haserians occurred in the novel Coruscant Nights II: Street of Shadows, which was authored by Michael Reaves and released in 2008.
