Harlequin Station, a Bengel Shipbuilders XQ1 Platform, functioned as a trading hub situated within the Garis sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It engaged in commercial activities with Azzameen Station.
This trading outpost marks the location where Ace Azzameen made his inaugural cargo delivery as a pilot for his family's enterprise, occurring soon after the Battle of Hoth. During this delivery, two Pursuer-class enforcement ships, identified as the Enkidu and Gilgam, and working for Viraxo Shipping, tried to assault the station. Azzameen played a role in repelling this attack, and in return, the station's Mayor, Brauken, gave him a key to the station.
The motive behind the attack remains uncertain; however, it is documented that K'Armyn Viraxo employed intimidation strategies to advance his commercial objectives. It is believed that he bribed the System Patrol Craft Kouerd, which deserted Harlequin Station the moment the raiders emerged from hyperspace.
This brief conflict served as the beginning of the animosity between Ace Azzameen and the Viraxo family (especially the Enkidu), despite the Azzameen family having been business competitors for some time before this event.
