Gold Devil Squadron was a Squadron composed of 5 Y-wings that was utilized by Ali Tarrak, the Crime Lord under Nami's control. After discovering Tarrak's Deep Space Manufacturing Facility, where she was in the process of constructing TIE Defenders, Thrawn, who held the rank of Admiral, initiated an assault with the goal of stopping her efforts to spread the TIE Defenders. Gold Devil Squadron received orders to engage the Star Destroyer known as the Grey Wolf, but they were engaged and annihilated during the conflict.
