The asteroid belt called Fondor Belt III existed in the Fondor system. This system was situated within the Freeworlds Territory of the Tapani sector, specifically in the Southern Core region of the Colonies. This asteroid belt held the fifth orbital position around the star known as Fondor. It, along with the rest of its star system, lay along the Gandeal-Fondor Hyperlane, and a separate hyperspace route linked it to the Sefon system.
The reference book The Essential Atlas, released in 2009 and written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, included Fondor Belt III, locating it within grid square L-13.
