Finn was a male Sakiyan who held the position of bartender at Rik's Cantina. This establishment was situated in the underworld of Coruscant, the galactic capital, during the time of the Second Imperial Civil War. He also functioned as Rik's primary bouncer, the cantina itself being under the ownership of the Hutt Queen known as Jool. In the year 137 ABY, he provided alcoholic beverages to Cade Skywalker, the bounty hunter who was there to see Jool.

Born sometime in the decades preceding the Sith–Imperial War, Finn, a male of the Sakiyan species, eventually rose to become both the head bartender and chief enforcer for Rik's Cantina. This bar, located in the underworld of Coruscant, the galactic capital, was managed by Jool, the Hutt Queen. Finn maintained order at Rik's Cantina by employing discreet and effective methods, such as adding tranquilizers to a drink and offering it to any troublesome customer. During this time, he became acquainted with Cade Skywalker, the bounty hunter, who was a regular patron of the cantina along with his companions Jariah Syn and Deliah Blue.
During the Second Imperial Civil War in 137 ABY, Finn was on duty at Rik's Cantina when Skywalker arrived to visit Jool. Skywalker requested that the Sakiyan serve him both a Corellian whiskey and a Corellian ale, and the Hutt informed Finn that the cantina would be responsible for the cost of the beverages. Finn provided Skywalker with the drinks and continued to oversee the bar while Skywalker and Jool engaged in conversation.
Finn, a Sakiyan male, was known to be a cynical and detached person, rarely surprised by the events that unfolded within Rik's Cantina. However, his outward appearance concealed his proficiency in both hand-to-hand combat and the use of a blaster. Even in challenging circumstances, Finn maintained a calm and composed demeanor. He possessed a powerful blaster pistol, a comlink, and tranquilizer drops which he would secretly add to the drinks of disruptive customers. He did not hesitate to follow Queen Jool's instructions when she stated that the cantina would pay for Cade Skywalker's drinks. Finn had black eyes and gray skin.

Finn's initial appearance was in 2006 with the release of Star Wars: Legacy (2006) 0, a comic that provided essential details about several characters, locations, and groups featured in the Star Wars: Legacy comic series, authored by John Ostrander. Finn made his only appearance in the fourteenth issue of Legacy, with artwork created by Jan Duursema.
