Following a successful assault on an Imperial Juggernaut, zone runners seek shelter.
Zone runners functioned as nimble guerrilla combatants, executing swift hit-and-run tactics against enemy units that were more heavily armored and moved at a slower pace.
Within the theater of war, zone runners were generally required to approach mobile enemy targets on foot. Following attempts to neutralize or cripple their targets using accurately launched explosive satchels, they would then retreat to a safe location. Eschewing armor, which would impede their agility, zone runners depended on their speed and reaction time to evade being targeted by enemy combatants.
Prior to his career as an spy serving the Alliance to Restore the Republic, Wyl Tarson, along with his elder sibling Ved, served as zone runners for an unknown resistance force on an equally unknown world in opposition to the Galactic Empire.
