Ebla beer, also known by the single name Ebla, was an alcoholic drink that was served at the Zero Angle. The Zero Angle was a bar that was situated within the Imperial Bright Jewel Oversector Flight Base, which itself was located on the moon of Axxila III. Not long after the Battle of Yavin, Huck Trompo together with Sully Olvar, who were two TIE fighter pilots belonging to the Imperial Army's Nashtah Squadron, were drinking Eblas at this very bar. Sax Hastur, who was the Captain of their squadron, stopped them from singing in order to provoke some Navy pilots. Following this, he ordered Florn, the bartender, to provide Trompo and Olvar with another Ebla each. Ebla beer was also available on the planet Lothal.
Brian Daley was the creator of Ebla, and it was for the Star Wars Legends novel titled Han Solo's Revenge, which was released in 1978. Subsequently, it made appearances in a significant number of other legends stories under the name Ebla beer. The initial appearance of the drink within canon occurred in "Last Call at the Zero Angle," which was a short story penned by Jason Fry. This story was then published in Star Wars Insider 156 during the year 2015.
