Faraday Spirits

Faraday Spirits was a company focused on distributing beverages, and it was managed by the Faraday family. Lu-reen Faraday, a Chandrilan Lady and heiress within the organization, was in line to inherit the company around 382 BBY. The company once had a shipping incident that greatly reduced the number of their Chandrilan whiskey bottles.

Axel Greylark, the son of Kyong Greylark, who was the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic, met Lu-reen, and she used Faraday Spirits' slogan as her introduction. This encounter led to a romantic relationship. However, the relationship ended in 382 BBY, and Axel, after receiving some Chandrilan whiskey as a gift from Faraday, consumed it in a gambling den, reflecting on her and their initial meeting.

Description

Faraday Spirits operated as a distributor of beverages that had a reach that extended across the galaxy.

History

Axel Greylark (pictured) was romantically involved with Lu-reen Faraday—an heiress of Faraday Spirits—for some time.

During the era known as the High Republic Era, Lu-reen Faraday, a Chandrilan Lady and the daughter of a Republic senator, was positioned as the heir to her family's business, which was named after her family. At one point, Faraday encountered Axel Greylark, who was the son of the Republic's Supreme Chancellor, Kyong Greylark. She used Faraday Spirits' slogan to introduce herself, and this led to a romantic relationship between the two.

Once, the company was transporting a shipment of Chandrilan whiskey, but a shipping incident destroyed a large portion of it, leaving only three hundred bottles by 382 BBY. In that year, Faraday gave Axel a bottle of the now-rare whiskey, which had a value of a thousand credits per bottle, as a gift during a visit. Soon after, he ended their relationship and then drank the whiskey from his flask inside Raik's Parlor, a gambling den located on Coruscant, a planet in the Core Worlds. He was trying to avoid the news holos reporting about their breakup. As Axel spoke with others about the drink in his flask, he reflected on his past relationship with her and her association with Faraday Spirits, remembering when Faraday had first introduced herself using the company's slogan, and the fact that her father was a senator.
