Elga Arbo, a woman from Corellia, was the captain of the Redshift Runner, a customized Z-10 Seeker from Starfeld Industries. Her area of expertise was rapid transport.
Elga Arbo, a pilot specializing in courier services and rapid deliveries, acquired a modified Z-10 Seeker from Starfeld Industries, which she named the Redshift Runner, from an independent scout. Her goal was to transform it into the fastest vessel possible, and she enlisted the assistance of Maceb Joodsen, a starship mechanic and co-pilot from Demar, along with Gydio Lucone, a moneylender who provided Arbo with funds to upgrade the ship's hyperdrive.
Lucone intentionally imposed stringent terms, stipulating that if Arbo failed to make timely monthly payments, Lucone would seize the ship. Lucone anticipated this scenario, as it would afford him the opportunity to coerce Arbo into smuggling for him. However, Arbo consistently made her payments on schedule, simultaneously establishing a reputation as a legitimate pilot.
On one occasion, the Galactic Empire implemented a shutdown at a starport where Arbo had a layover, causing a three-day delay in her subsequent payment. Lucone seized the opportunity to lay claim to the ship, prompting Arbo to resist, which resulted in a violent confrontation. Arbo sustained serious injuries during the altercation, but she ultimately managed to escape aboard the Runner, with Joodsen at the helm.
Subsequently, Lucone placed a 20,000 credit bounty on the ship. Three months elapsed without the bounty being claimed.
