Dynamic Synergetics Incorporated, often shortened to Dyn Synerge, functioned as a subordinate entity of the incredibly significant InterGalactic Banking Clan trade organization. By the concluding year of 19 BBY, the period of conflict known as the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance, a condition of financial misappropriation inside the Banking Clan had caused Dyn Synerge, along with a number of the Banking Clan's other subordinate companies, to enter bankruptcy.
This insolvency was subsequently brought to light by Republic Senator Padmé Amidala and Rush Clovis, a member of the Banking Clan, during their mission to Scipio, a planet located in the Outer Rim Territories, with the goal of exposing the suspected embezzlement of the trade group. Following their discovery, the Republic senator realized that the Banking Clan's situation, which was a direct result of the embezzlement, needed to be immediately communicated to Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine.
The Star Wars canon introduced Dynamic Synergetics Incorporated through a datascreen displaying Aurebesh in "An Old Friend," the fifth installment of the sixth season of the animated television program Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which was originally broadcast on March 7, 2014. In this particular episode, the subsidiary was shown as "Dyn Synerge" on the aforementioned datascreen. Its complete name was later provided in the corresponding episode summary located on StarWars.com. Within the Star Wars Legends continuity, Dynamic Synergetics, Inc. made its debut in Planet of the Mists, a 1992 adventure module penned by Nigel D. Findley for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, which was published by West End Games.
