Druyza, indigenous to Socorro, existed as herding creatures. These animals constituted the main food source for monnoks. Furthermore, the Ibhaan'I nomads domesticated them for use as pack animals and riding creatures, and also for their hide, flesh, and excrement. The excrement was utilized in brick production.
