Doane Watki was a female Human inhabiting Tatooine throughout the era of the Galactic Civil War. She held the title of champion podracer within the Valarian Syndicate. In the year 1 ABY, Jabba the Hutt's head mechanic, Barada, contracted a spacer to look into the Valarian Pod Racers Bunker as he believed the Valarian podracer pilots were engaging in dishonest practices. This eventually led to him commissioning Doane Watki's assassination.
Within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, Doane Watki was featured as a non-player character. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The character of Doane Watki was integrated into the game as a component of the reworked "Jabba's Theme Park," which was launched alongside "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005, before the game's shutdown on December 15, 2011.
