The Derf Chapter, led by Tik Tali Talosh as its president, functioned as a division within the larger Max Rebo Fan Club, an organization honoring the eponymous musician. This particular chapter took its designation from the Derf system, which resides in the Sluis sector of the Outer Rim Territories'.
