Delt Nerris was a pilot of starships who showed support for the Alliance to Restore the Republic throughout the Galactic Civil War.
A joint operation was put together by the Galactic Empire alongside the Corellian Security Forces to ensnare criminals, using the illegally-modified Short Hauler named Nova Whisper as bait, which had been seized from the pirate known as Dharus. Delt Nerris was chosen to be the pilot of this craft. Nerris seized the opportunity, commandeering the ship and delivering it to the Alliance's forces. Subsequently, the Alliance incorporated the ship into their fleet stationed on Asher III.
