Corellia was the source of a specific variety of buckwheat noodle: Corellian buckwheat noodles. In the time after the Battle of Yavin in the Galactic Civil War, Luke Skywalker and Nakari Kelen, who were rebels, were dispatched to the planet Denon to rendezvous with Sakhet, a Kupohan intelligence operative. Skywalker and Kelen managed to get to Sakhet's Noodles, the noodle shop utilized by the Kudophan as a cover for her spy work, and Skywalker placed their food request: Corellian buckwheat noodles with nerf nuggets for Kelen, and the same noodles but with rancor sauce for himself. They received a slip of paper instructing them to come back for a discussion the next morning, and then they were given their meals, even though Skywalker got the same dish as Kelen, which he appreciated.
The novel Heir to the Jedi, penned by Kevin Hearne and published in 2015, featured Corellian buckwheat noodles.
