This tall individual oversaw the training and management of the tractor beam team, working from the warship's bridge. Grand Admiral Thrawn used Colclazure as a teaching tool, demonstrating how to rectify shortcomings before they solidified into persistent problems. This was prompted by the inadequate training, insubordination, and inflexibility displayed by Cris Pieterson, one of Colclazure's subordinates, following an unsuccessful effort to ensnare Luke Skywalker in his X-Wing using the Chimaera's tractor beams. While Colclazure received a verbal dressing-down, he avoided execution, unlike Pieterson, who was killed by Rukh.
