Clode Rhoden held dominion over and was the proprietor of the gas giant planet known as Yorn Skot in the time leading up to the Battle of Naboo. Through the extraction of tibanna from the Yorn Skot mining station, Roden amassed a fortune in credits, but simultaneously garnered a significant number of adversaries. He was wed to Madam Rhoden, and was aware of her illicit relationship with the eco-terrorist known as Buck. Furthermore, Rhoden possessed ownership of the luxury liner named Aurorient Express.
During the year 38 BBY, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi embarked on an assignment to rescue the Aurorient Express from plummeting into the depths of the gas giant. They uncovered Rhoden's scheme to eliminate his spouse by ejecting her in an escape pod toward the Station, with the intent of obliterating it and subsequently claiming insurance funds by attributing the devastation to the Green Forge terrorist organization.
Despite averting the Station's annihilation, Rhoden ultimately forfeited it to Saul Moegantz through gambling losses.
