A militant environmentalist affiliated with Green Forge, Buck was a physically imposing individual who exploited opportunities. His modus operandi involved engaging in romantic relationships with affluent women, leveraging these connections to further the aims of Green Forge. Ostensibly, these affairs served as a means to gather intelligence for acts of sabotage against environmentally damaging magnates and their facilities. However, Buck routinely absconded with assets from his bereaved paramours. His current objective centers on the Tibanna-extraction operation at the Yorn Skot mining station, owned by Clode Rhoden.
Having successfully seduced Madam Rhoden and assumed the role of her personal fitness instructor, Buck covertly smuggled a core bomb onto the Aurorient Express (another of Clode's holdings) with the intention of obliterating both the properties and their owner. However, their scheme was complicated by the presence of several other parties, including the pirate infiltrator Podlong Foahl and the prescient Clode. Podlong had armed his own timed core bomb, and Clode instructed the ship's captain to relocate Buck's core bomb to the pair's escape pod. Fortunately, they received a warning from Saul Moegantz, who had supplanted Buck in the Madame's affections. Following the evacuation of the ship, Podlong's bomb detonated, destroying both the Aurorient and the pirate vessel.
As an experienced bomber himself, Buck possessed detailed knowledge of core bombs and was able to discern Podlong's threat by recognizing his bomb's activation mechanism. He also asserted proficiency in eight forms of the martial art Tae-Jitsu, adopting a characteristic stance, but was swiftly defeated by the youthful Obi-wan Kenobi.
