Cie Vos

Cie Vos, a Zabrak of the male persuasion, operated as a criminal on the desert planet of Tatooine during the time of the Galactic Civil War.

Biography

Some time after the Battle of Yavin, Cie Vos found employment within Lady Valarian's criminal syndicate situated on the world of Tatooine.

The toxic rations stolen by Cie Vos

In the year 1 ABY, Vos came to the realization that Lady Valarian was, for reasons unknown to him, poisoning some customers of the Lucky Despot. Consequently, he pilfered a container of toxic rations to substantiate his claim. Having been branded an enemy of the syndicate, Kavas Urdano, Valarian's second-in-command, tasked a spacer with the mission of killing Vos and recovering the purloined rations. Upon the spacer's approach to Vos, just outside the city of Mos Eisley, Vos vehemently asserted that the rations were in fact poisonous, and that it was his intention to present them as evidence to the authorities. Despite his pleas to spare his life, the spacer proceeded to kill him, along with two fellow thugs who were there defending him. Subsequently, the spacer returned the toxic rations to Urdano, who rewarded him with 2,000 credits.

Behind the scenes

Human female depiction of Cie Vos, deemed non-canon in Legends continuity

Cie Vos appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 video game_ Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game brought to life by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts,[2] until its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011.[3] Cie Vos was an original fixture of the game, specifically as a component of Lady Valarian's Quest Series.[2]_

Due to Cie Vos being generated using the "jabba_thief" template, his visual appearance was subject to randomization, resulting in one of two potential forms. He could manifest either as a male Zabrak or as a Human female. Given that the quest dialogue consistently referred to Vos as male, this article operates under the assumption that the male Zabrak representation is considered canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

With the implementation of "Publish 23" on August 31, 2005, Lady Valarian's Quest Series was deactivated, leading to the subsequent removal of Cie Vos from the game.
