Chee Mobok

Chee Mobok was a male Twi'lek who worked as a textiles merchant, and it is noted that he did not speak Basic very often.

History

Despite his limited Basic language skills, Chee Mobok, a male Twi'lek, earned his living as a textiles merchant. The Twi'lek given name "Chee" translated to "war, warrior," while his clan name, "Mobok," signified "authoritative."

In 32 BBY, Mobok journeyed to Naboo on a purchasing venture. Though he had initially scheduled a meeting with Shep Contopault in a different city, Mobok ended up in Theed. Not realizing his mistake, Mobok blamed Contopault for missing their planned meetings. Ultimately, he found himself caught in the midst of the Trade Federation's invasion of the planet. Mobok's attempt to flee Theed via speeder ended with him crashing into a pond while trying to escape a STAP pursuing him.

In a panicked and hysterical state during his escape attempt, Mobok encountered Jedi Padawan Sia-Lan Wezz and her companions: Rorworr, Deel Surool, Arani Korden, Galak, and Dané. These individuals were all passengers displaced from the Crescent. Despite initial communication challenges, Mobok eventually calmed down. He assisted the freighter group in retrieving his speeder, and together they utilized it to make their escape from Theed.

The group was subsequently compelled to abandon the damaged speeder within Lianorm Swamp. Mobok continued to follow the group, hoping to return to the Crescent and the chance to leave the planet. During their journey, Mobok was ambushed and attacked by a Veermok, but the rest of the crew managed to drive the creature away. A Gungan patrol, led by Mokem, intercepted the refugees and escorted them to the swamp's edge, prohibiting them from venturing any further.

The group eventually reached their intended meeting location, only to find no trace of the Crescent. Instead, they came across RSF Security Guards engaged in a firefight with Rodian and Gran pirates. Mobok remained hidden as the crew of the Crescent intervened, ultimately defeating the pirates. The sole RSF survivor, Mett Habble, was in fact the recent organizer of the Naboo Resistance. Habble offered the refugees refuge, an offer which Mobok readily accepted.
