Brint-wo, a sizable, ringed planet, had the Brint-wo Colony as its satellite.
Evidently, the system was supportive of the Rebel Alliance, indicated by Rebel pilot Olin Garn's temporary assignment to the planet in 3 ABY. It was during this period that Garn met with the Azzameen family. This family was in the process of transporting bacta to the nearby Rebel Hospital, a facility dedicated to the care of injured Rebel soldiers following the Battle of Hoth. Subsequently, the system provided an escape route for Emon and Ace Azzameen after they escaped an Imperial ambush that occurred at the hospital. While Emon and Ace lived through the ordeal, their father Tomaas and older brother Galin were not so fortunate.
