Back in 3643 BBY, Baron Jharkus Thul captured Brant Sonn, his family, and three hundred other citizens of Organa. This capture served as a diversion after the Republic successfully recovered the Spears of Organa. Charle Remmot Organa, along with a Republic agent, went to negotiate with the Baron for the prisoners' release. Jharkus, seeing the agent as more valuable, demanded the agent's capture. The agent agreed, leading to the release of Brant Sonn and the other prisoners. However, Brant Sonn then aided the Republic in rescuing the agent, who subsequently thwarted Thul's attack on House Organa.
