Birket, a male Human from the Legends continuity, held the Imperial Security Bureau rank of Major. During his service, he interacted on multiple occasions with the bounty hunter known as Boddu Bocck. In one such interaction, a stray bolt from Bocck's crossbow resulted in the death of Birket's aide.
On Tatooine, Birket taunts Platt Okeefe.
The capture of Platt Okeefe, a smuggler notorious for her extensive work with the Rebel Alliance and her defiance of Imperial Customs, was assigned to Birket. After Okeefe evaded him on several occasions, Birket decided to enlist the aid of Bocck and his associates when she supposedly "kidnapped" a boy from Brentaal. Birket approached Bocck in the shady Port Town district of Cloud City. He offered Bocck, Beylyssa, and Tolga 5,000 credits upfront, with an additional 25,000 upon successful completion of the mission.
Birket subsequently journeyed to Tatooine alongside Bocck to apprehend Tru'eb Cholakk, Okeefe's associate. In Mos Eisley, Birket employed a Kubaz informant to monitor Cholakk's movements. While this alerted the Twi'lek to potential danger, it also allowed Birket to establish an ambush around Cholakk's vessel, the Luudrian Star. Following Cholakk's capture, the Major instructed that the ship be flown to Dead Bantha Gulch, Okeefe's designated meeting point. There, he successfully captured Okeefe, only to witness the escape of her apparent "captive," Darrik. The boy, in reality, had willingly joined the smuggler as an apprentice. Once free, Darrik assisted in liberating Okeefe and Cholakk. Together, they took Birket prisoner and fled the planet, with Okeefe intending to hand the Major over to the Rebel Alliance.
The Major carried a walking stick that concealed a blade within its tip. When necessary, he could deploy the blade with a flick of the wrist and use it as a weapon.
