Bez Martilla was a member of the celebrated Slayers Three, a group of three accomplished hunters of large game originating from a world located inside the Spawn Nebula; her brothers, Angol and Derrus, were also members of the trio. The three siblings frequently departed from their home and journeyed throughout the galaxy seeking the honor of the hunt, adhering to a mysterious calendar and visiting worlds as ordained by their shamans. In approximately 3637 BBY, the group made their way to the planet Rishi; however, by this point, Derrus had become jaded, calling his siblings "idiots" and quitting the hunt. In contrast, Bez began her hunt on the Sky Ridge Island, inviting any travelers to participate.
Bez Martilla, along with the Slayers Three, are featured in the Star Wars: The Old Republic: Shadow of Revan expansion pack, which was launched on December 2, 2014.
