Battle of Skorrupon

The clash known as the Battle of Skorrupon occurred on the planet Skorrupon and pitted forces against the dreaded Galactic Empire.

The Conflict

During the era known as the Imperial Period, Arani Korden, Deel Surool, and Rorworr found themselves face-to-face with the High Inquisitor, Volytar, within the confines of his secluded sanctuary on Skorrupon. They successfully ambushed the Imperial Inquisitor as he attempted to board his personal shuttle to escape to his orbiting Star Destroyer. The confrontation escalated into a battle against Volytar, who had fortified himself with eight destroyer droids within a chamber laden with concealed grenade traps.

Subsequent Events

Following the conclusion of the battle, Korden, Surool, and Rorworr gained recognition as the "heroes of Skorrupon," eventually going their separate ways after the event.

Korden journeyed back to her homeworld of Naboo and assumed the role of a senator in the New Republic.

Leveraging his newfound fame, Surool transitioned into a holovid celebrity, but a significant spice controversy forced him to retreat into the shadows of the criminal world, where he rose to become a crime lord.

With the Empire's defeat at the Battle of Endor, Rorworr declined an offer to join the New Republic, choosing instead to pursue a career as an independent explorer. Embarking on a comprehensive tour of the galaxy aboard his customized Svelte-class shuttle, he then continued exploring the galaxy independently, mourning the loss of his companion Sia-Lan Wezz.

Behind the story

Sia-Lan Wezz's death on Kessel, as featured on the cover of Star Wars: Purge

The Battle of Skorrupon was initially brought up in Galactic Campaign Guide, a Star Wars Roleplaying Game supplement that Wizards of the Coast released in August of 2003.

Galactic Campaign Guide suggested that Sia-Lan Wezz met her death during the Battle of Skorrupon. This was later revised with the publication of the comic book Star Wars: Purge in December of 2005, which depicted the Jedi's demise at the hands of Darth Vader during the Conclave on Kessel. The 2008 reference book The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia verified that she successfully evaded the Imperial Inquisitors and was ultimately killed by Darth Vader on Kessel.
