The B-wing Mark II, a starfighter type, was produced by Slayn & Korpil and saw usage preceding the Cold War. Certain components from it were repurposed by Resistance technicians in the creation of troop transports.
Featuring a spherical cockpit designed for a lone pilot, the B-wing Mark II was armed, at minimum, with an R-9X heavy laser cannon, and also included a precise targeting laser. Resistance technicians utilized these components, along with the life-support systems and cockpit, to construct their troop transport.
