Zrak (location)

A brief poem tells of a Heep-heep male whose origin was Zrak. In this verse, the Heep-heep finds himself trapped in a narrow space.

Behind the scenes

Zrak was introduced in Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas.

The 1993 book, Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas, mentioned Zrak. This book, authored by Bob Carrau, combines creature designs and pictures from various projects by George Lucas, the Star Wars creator, with original writing. According to Leland Chee, a Lucasfilm employee who manages the Holocron continuity database, the information within Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas is considered non-canonical to the Star Wars Legends continuity. Despite this, the 2009 reference work, The Essential Atlas, and its StarWars.com Online Companion expanded upon the Zrak reference by introducing the Zrak system. This system was located within the Nijune sector, found in the New Territories region of the Outer Rim Territories.
