Yorpo Mog, characterized by his brown skin, was an alien of an uncatalogued species. He was discovered within the mining settlements situated on Tyne's Horky. Functioning as an assistant bounty hunter, he was employed by Kleb Zellock, a crime lord and bounty hunter known for his lack of scruples.
Yorpo was kept occupied by Kleb, toiling in his mines in the search of the precious substance Nergon-14. Furthermore, Kleb ensured Yorpo's presence when he accepted the task of locating a missing prince called Mon Julpa. Despite multiple chances, Yorpo consistently failed to successfully capture Mon Julpa.
An incident occurred at Doodnik's Café involving Yorpo and a young miner, Jann Tosh. It is possible that Mog would have killed Tosh, but Jessica Meade, a freighter pilot, intervened at the crucial moment. Jessica halted the altercation by stunning Yorpo in the neck with a mini-stunner.
Shortly after this, Yorpo severed his connection with Kleb Zellock entirely. Aware that his operations were nearing their conclusion, Kleb made preparations to flee Tyne's Horky. His intention was to abandon Yorpo, absconding with his share of the mining profits. Feeling deceived, Yorpo betrayed Kleb, aiding Jann Tosh, C-3PO, and R2-D2 in ensuring his apprehension. Following Kleb's arrest, Yorpo took a job working for Gundy, Jann's uncle, at his Keschel mine.
Yorpo communicated exclusively in his native tongue, lacking the ability to speak Basic, though he possessed comprehension of it. He was notorious for his aversion towards droids, seizing every opportunity to mistreat them. This aspect of his character presumably underwent a transformation following his reformation.
The voice acting for Yorpo was provided by Dan Hennessey. An error exists on TV.com under the entry for The Lost Prince, where Yorpo's name is incorrectly spelled as Yorba. The subtitles in English on the DVD of Star Wars Droids render his name as Yorpa.
