For their meat and hides, yaggie men engaged in the hunting of yaggies.
This depiction of the hunt was featured in the "Trooper" story within the tenth issue of Star Wars Tales from Dark Horse Comics back in 2001. Leland Chee, who serves as the continuity referee at Lucasfilm, clarified that elements from these Tales comics hold an S-canon status until incorporated into C-canon materials. He later stated on his Facebook profile that this specific narrative was designed to exist outside of established canon.
