The Xerxes, an EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate, saw action with the Rebel Alliance Navy in the Galactic Civil War at the Battle of Mylok IV. During an attempt by Rebel leaders to acquire advanced hyperdrive technology from rogue Nharwaak scientists, the Frigate Xerxes was annihilated by Imperial forces under the command of Grand Admiral Demetrius Zaarin. After the Xerxes's demise, Imperial troops overwhelmed the Nharwaak, who had turned against their previous allies, the Habeen.
