Wran Narcassan was a male Human. He was the offspring of Vula Nelprin and the nephew of Shalla Nelprin, a former member of Wraith Squadron in the era of the Galactic Civil War. Wran adopted the family name of Vyn Narcassan, his mother's father, due to his perception of his own father as an inadequate example.
Wran functioned as a sharpshooter within Wraith Squadron in 44 ABY, participating in their mission to unravel the mystery surrounding General Stavin Thaal. Following Bhindi Drayson's death on Vandor-3 during the joint investigation of Galactic Alliance General Stavin Thaal, Wran's Wraith unit, under the leadership of Sharr Latt, was merged with Drayson's Wraith Squadron.
