Worrmps were diminutive beings that lived in the sewers of the Meatlump Hideout, which was located below the streets of the city of Coronet on the planet Corellia. Despite their visual similarities to worrts, Chef Schlump classified the worrmps as rodents. The Meatlump Gang had a habit of crushing the worrmps, alongside meetles, that plagued their hideout, and then utilizing the resulting liquid to produce Meatlump wine, a favored drink of the Meatlump King.
The initial introduction of Worrmps occurred in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony and distributed by LucasArts. The game was eventually shut down on December 15, 2011. Worrmps were incorporated into the game through the "Meatlumps Theme Park" content, which was launched alongside "Chapter 10: The Search for the Meatlump King," released on June 19, 2008.
