Wil Asani was a male Human (of the male variety) who existed during both the Clone Wars period and the subsequent dark times.
In the year 19 BBY, Asani joined the resistance and became a member of The Eleven. This group had been established by former Jedi members Ferus Olin and Roan Lands after Emperor Palpatine transformed the Galactic Republic into his New Order. After Lands and Dona Telamark were apprehended by the Empire, Asani, along with Doctor Amie Antin, convened with Oryon and Trever Flume to devise a plan to rescue Lands and Telemark by sending information. However, stormtroopers disrupted their meeting, forcing Asani to store the data on his computer. After escaping through a tunnel, Asani and Antin escorted Flume, Solace and Oryon to a landing platform to facilitate their departure from the planet.
Following Flume's return to Bellassa with Solace and Oryon, Asani and Antin assisted in the effort to locate the holding place of Telemark and Lands, who were awaiting trial. Unable to pinpoint the location of the ship, the only piece of information that he could provide was that the trial would occur on the True Justice, a vessel that was constantly in transit, collecting political prisoners. After departing the planet, Asani journeyed with other opposition leaders to the Jedi asteroid, where they intended to remain concealed from the Empire. During a stopover caused by a malfunction in the ship's transpirator, Asani and Ferus discovered a tracking device on board. While he stayed at the base, it came to light that Toma had been acting as a spy for the Empire. She was responsible for activating the tracking device, which enabled Darth Vader and the Empire to locate the resistance leaders. Asani died when the Jedi asteroid was destroyed.
