Weigh Station Karambola, a space station, belonged to Fastid Barancul Karambola. In the tenth-level solarium den of this station, Lando Calrissian had a meeting with Vice Grand Administrator Prita Sven, only to be abruptly taken away by L3-37.
Despite its remote location within the galaxy, Weigh Station Karambola attracted a diverse array of individuals, including smugglers, bounty hunters, and various other criminals. The station's owner was the courteous Crolute Fastid Barancul Karambola, who named the station after himself. The station was structured with several levels, with a solarium den located on the tenth level.
During the Imperial Era, Lando Calrissian paid a visit to Weigh Station Karambola, where he engaged in a meeting with Vice Grand Administrator Prita Sven within the tenth-level solarium den. Their conversation was interrupted by Sardis Ramsin, posing as a bounty hunter, who was promptly punched by Karambola for his insults. Before Calrissian could resume his discussion with Sven, his droid companion, L3-37, intervened and urged him to depart for the Farfax system. L3-37 escorted Calrissian out of the solarium, back to their starship, known as the Millennium Falcon, as they set off in search of the Mesulan Remnants Belt.
The 2018 canon novel Last Shot, authored by Daniel José Older, marks the initial appearance of Weigh Station Karambola.
