Warba Calip, a human female attuned to the Force, spent her childhood on Jedha. Her home was situated a mere four blocks from the Temple of the Kyber, a place she frequented to hear the teachings of the Guardians of the Whills. Later in life, she made her home on the arid desert planet of Sergia, where her path crossed with Luke Skywalker. Skywalker was on Sergia as part of a mission for the Rebel Alliance. He hoped Calip could instruct him in the ways of the Force; however, she desired the lightsaber he carried. Ultimately, Calip stole Skywalker's lightsaber, but Skywalker gave chase and persuaded her to return it.
