Vode An, which translates to "Brothers All", is a Mandalorian battle song performed in Mando'a. Before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Jango Fett personally trained the initial group of Alpha class ARC troopers for the Republic on Kamino. Fett imparted Mandalorian values to these clones, ensuring each clone memorized the Vode An. Other clones, such as Clone Commandos, learned the Vode An from their various Mandalorian instructors. This group of Mandalorians, brought to Kamino at Jango's request to train the more elite clones, was known as the Cuy'val Dar. The song calls them the "Wrath of Coruscant", a phrase with a double meaning: they served the Republic, and Coruscant was the original homeworld of the Mandalorians. The clone troopers famously sang this chant accompanied by drums and horns. A modified version was made for the Grand Army of the Republic and was sung by Commandos Fi and Niner Skirata.
Kote! Kandosii sa ka'rta, Vode an. Coruscanta a'den mhi, Vode an. Bal kote, darasuum kote, Jorso'ran kando a tome. Sa kyr'am nau tracyn kad, Vode an.
Kandosii sa ka'rta, Vode an. Coruscanta a'den mhi, Vode an. Bal... Motir ca'tra nau tracinya. Gra'tua cuun hett su dralshy'a. Aruetyc runi solus cet o'r. Motir ca'tra nau tracinya. Gra'tua cuun hett su dralshy'a. Aruetyc runi trattok'o. Sa kyr'am nau tracyn kad, Vode an!
Glory! One indomitable heart, Brothers all. We, the wrath of Coruscant, Brothers all. And glory, eternal glory, We shall bear its weight together. Forged like the saber in the fires of death, Brothers all.
One indomitable heart, Brothers all. We, the wrath of Coruscant, Brothers all. And... Those who stand before us light the night sky in flame. Our vengeance burns brighter still. Every last traitorous soul shall kneel. Those who stand before us light the night sky in flame. Our vengeance burns brighter still. Every last traitorous soul shall fall. Forged like the saber in the fires of death, Brothers all!
Vode An can be heard in various sections of the 2005 video game Star Wars: Republic Commando, such as the main menu and during several combat scenarios. In 2016, the song, along with other musical pieces from Republic Commando, was reused in "Chapter XIV: Mandalore's Revenge" of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Fallen Empire, which focused on the Mandalorians.
A brief instrumental version of the Vode An's chorus plays as clone commando Gregor was dying in the finale of the Canon animated television show Star Wars Rebels, Family Reunion – and Farewell, which was broadcast in 2018.
