A male Human known as Vermon Skeetz resided on Corellia during the Galactic Civil War era.
Vermon Skeetz grappled with mental illness, which he managed effectively through medication. Following the Battle of Yavin, Corellian slavers captured Vermon, and he was enslaved within the Corellian Slaver Bunker located near Tyrena. During his time as a captive, he developed a friendship with Akers Radch. In 1 ABY, Vermon Skeetz, along with a group of slaves led by Kyran Silene, successfully escaped the bunker. The escaped slaves did not make it to Tyrena, instead forming a camp in the surrounding wilderness. Unfortunately, Vermon lost his crucial medication during the escape, triggering a severe psychotic episode. Later, a spacer, recruited by Kyran Silene's wife, arrived at their camp. This spacer intended to infiltrate the slaver bunker in order to uncover evidence of the slavers' operations for the Corellian Security Force. While at the camp, the spacer encountered Vermon Skeetz in a delusional state, issuing orders to assassinate Akers Radch. Once inside the bunker, the spacer located Akers, who then assisted in retrieving Vermon's much-needed medicine. Ultimately, the spacer broadcasted the slavers' records on the CorSec emergency channels, prompting a swift response by numerous CorSec agents who liberated all the slaves within the bunker. After escaping the bunker, Akers delivered the medicine to Vermon, who quickly recovered from his psychotic break and offered apologies for his earlier aggressive actions.
Vermon Skeetz appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. Vermon Skeetz was introduced to the game through an update called "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives," which was released on June 8, 2006.
