It served as the final resting place where the Duros interred numerous highly esteemed leaders, notably including Rana Mas Trehalt. The Valley contained numerous concealed catacombs and caverns, safeguarding a substantial repository of both historically relevant knowledge and precious items. The Tiercam Dam's structural failure led to the Valley being inundated with hazardous waste, and nearly resulted in the deaths of a number of Duros archaeologists.
The historian Vicendi included the valley in his compilation of the Twenty Wonders of the Galaxy, an event that took place in 10,000 BBY. It was deserted around 4000 BBY.
