Vaik'anna Silverlight was a female Twi'lek who resided on the planet of Naboo throughout the era of the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, she gained employment in Theed under the service of Roric V`lia, a noble of Naboo. This Twi'lek would often share information with spacers, discussing the activities of her employer concerning the Imperial Weapon Research Facility, the criminal organization known as the Maulers, and the war between the Empire and the Gungans. On one occasion, Vaik'anna Silverlight encountered Jar Jar Binks.
Within the video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and brought to the public by LucasArts in 2003, Vaik'anna Silverlight existed as a non-player character before the game's shutdown on December 15, 2011. The character of Vaik'anna Silverlight was introduced to the game via the "Publish 5" update, which went live on December 16, 2003.
