V-484 was a Stybla family freighter utilized by the Chiss Ascendancy. This starship was en route from Csilla to Sposia with a shipment that comprised, among other things, a piece of a tachyon flow synchrotron accelerator belonging to the second Starflash weapon, when it was seized. The hijacking was perpetrated by members of the Clarr family, who had masked themselves as an Obbic family transport and then forcibly jumped to hyperspace. Once the cargo had been pilfered, the hijackers abandoned the V-484 in an orbit that was elliptical around the blackdock Glastis 3, hoping the blackdock personnel would find it only after they had already sold the stolen goods on the planet Pleknok. However, Senior Aide Stybla'ppin'cykok, who was aboard the patrol ship Jandalin, working with Mid Commander Mitth'raw'nuru and Syndic Mitth'ras'safis, discovered the V-484 and managed to locate the stolen cargo afterward.
