In the year 19 ABY, a swoop gang operated on the planet of Pembric II. Langre and Barksy were among its members. During that year, while providing security for a gang gathering at the ThrusterBurn Tapcafe, some gang members tried to harm Talon Karrde, the smuggler leader, and his protector, Shada D'ukal. D'ukal, a Mistryl Shadow Guard, swiftly defeated three of the attackers, and Karrde took care of the remaining one.
