A pirate stronghold existed in close proximity to the Serianan system. This stronghold was situated inside a domed structure, featuring both a staircase and an entrance. The doorway bore a striking resemblance to a collection of five statues that were retrieved from the star system by New Republic scout Korren Starchaser. Inside this base, the pirates possessed a sixth statue, which completed the set initially discovered by Starchaser.
On one occasion, the pirates seized a party of spacers who were en route to the Serianan system, subsequently transporting them to their base. These prisoners investigated the stronghold and discerned its link to the statues originating from the Serianan Belt. They successfully pilfered the sixth statue and made their escape from the base.
