A Mon Calamari admiral was among those serving the Alliance to Restore the Republic. During a critical meeting on the planet of Zastiga, this admiral, along with the Alliance's leading admirals and generals, were informed about the Galactic Empire's colossal superweapon: the second Death Star. As the assembled leaders deliberated on strategies to attack this formidable weapon, she questioned how the fleet could possibly gather without the Empire detecting their movements.
The answer came from another Mon Calamari, Gial Ackbar. He revealed the discovery of a secret hyperspace route, known as the Sanctuary Pipeline, that would allow them to achieve both objectives. The plan involved assembling the fleet at Sullust and then using the pipeline to reach the Forest Moon of Endor, the location from which they would attempt to destroy the Empire's Death Star.

In the year 4 ABY, a Mon Calamari admiral in the service of the Rebel Alliance attended a vital emergency summit. This meeting took place on the distant trading planet Zastiga, not long before the pivotal Battle of Endor. The gathering served as the venue for the revelation of the Galactic Empire's second Death Star. Consequently, the Alliance High Command, along with the Alliance's most prominent admirals and generals, engaged in a discussion focused on the best approach to attacking it.
The admiral then spoke up, raising her hand to inquire about the logistics of assembling the Alliance Fleet. She noted the Forest Moon of Endor's distance from major trade routes. She also questioned how the Alliance could prevent the Empire from becoming aware of their impending assault. Princess Leia Organa, a rebel leader at the meeting, realized she was unfamiliar with the admiral.
Gial Ackbar, the commander of the Alliance Fleet, provided the answer. He presented a holographic map of the galaxy and explained that rebel agents had uncovered a clandestine hyperspace route created by the Empire using S-thread boosters. This route, dubbed the Sanctuary Pipeline, stretched from the edge of the galaxy to Sullust. The admirals, including the Mon Calamari, exchanged murmurs, contemplating the immense cost of such a venture. Ackbar further detailed that the rebel fleet would converge over Sullust.
To maintain secrecy, Organa suggested acting as a decoy to draw Imperial attention. Initially, the admirals and generals were hesitant about a politician dictating strategy. However, Organa convinced them of the merits of her plan, Operation Yellow Moon. Chancellor Mon Mothma needed more time for an executive decision. Mothma eventually approved the mission, which successfully diverted the Empire's focus from the fleet's buildup. Subsequently, the Rebellion achieved a crucial victory at the Battle of Endor, destroying the second Death Star.
The admiral made an appearance in the 2015 junior novel titled Moving Target: A Princess Leia Adventure, a collaborative work by Cecil Castellucci and Jason Fry.
