A tale is told of the pirate known as Q'anah, claiming that during the twilight years of the Galactic Republic, she found herself marooned on a remote satellite. Before being saved from this moon, the story goes that Q'anah had to amputate her own hand by biting it off, due to a severe infection.
The unnamed moon initially appeared within the pages of James Luceno's 2014 novel, Tarkin.
